Sarah O’Halla is a Michigan-based Licensed Professional Counselor with six years of experience helping people navigate life challenges and emotional distress.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in counseling from Oakland University in 2001. She began her career as a science teacher and later moved into the role of a high school counselor. She is also a proud mother of three daughters and has spent her professional career focused on providing mental health support.
She holds a Michigan license as a Licensed Professional Counselor, license number 6401008216. Over the past six years she has worked in mental health related settings and provides support for stress, anxiety, depression, relationship and parenting issues, LGBT concerns, family conflicts, grief, anger management, self-esteem struggles, career difficulties, and coping with life changes.
Her therapeutic work is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy - she collaborates with clients to examine thought patterns that influence feelings and behaviors and to develop practical coping strategies aimed at resolving current problems. Care is individualized and takes a holistic view of the factors affecting each person’s life. Her goal is to guide people toward growth, healing, empowerment, and greater peace.
