Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, my name is Romy Rodriguez and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. My first job in the field was Crisis and I loved every single aspect of it. I have also worked at The Village where I was in charge of the PPW (Post-Partum) program where I provided individual and case management services to women in the court system. I also provided Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to adolescents and their families who lived in the shelter called Lotus House in Miami, FL. I also provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy to treat trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions.
As a clinician, I value empathy and unconditional positive regard. Each client have different needs and they have a different treatment approach. My approaches are TFCBT, EMDR, and CBT models. These models are used to help each client work towards gaining confidence and a connection with their feelings, trust and peace of mind.

For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy can be an effective option and has been shown to match the outcomes of traditional in-person sessions for these issues.
One of the main advantages is flexibility – people can connect with a therapist in the format that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and maintain continuity of care.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and if a different fit is desired it is possible to switch therapists. For many individuals seeking support for common mental health concerns, online therapy offers an accessible and practical path to getting help.
