Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a UK therapist (MBACP Accred) with five years of experience working with clients facing various and complex issues, some of which include stress and anxiety, relationship issues, identity and motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I am a specialist in the field of grief and bereavement and have undertaken extensive research in this area, which is being reviewed for publication.
Alongside my work with clients, I am a university lecturer in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have a broad background in working with distressed or vulnerable individuals; including looked after children, traumatized individuals and people with learning disabilities.
My therapeutic approach is ‘integrative’, meaning that I combine person-centred counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy and attachment theory in my work. I believe that this is helpful as it moves away from the ‘one size fits all’ idea… everyone is unique! This means that I am able to work with a wide range of issues and allows me to tailor the therapeutic experience to you.
Ways of working aside, choosing the right therapist is important. Like all people on earth, I have my own set of distinct qualities and values that make me who I am. Acceptance, trustworthiness, understanding, an open mind and commitment to your success are the foundation of my work.
Therapy can be a life changing opportunity. We can work together in a way that works for you, to help you create lasting change. I am ready to support and empower you should you want to begin this process.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Rebecca Foster is a UK therapist and an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP Accred) with five years of experience supporting people through a wide range of difficulties. She works with stress and anxiety, relationship problems, grief and bereavement, identity and motivation, low self-esteem and confidence, and coping with life changes.
She is a specialist in grief and bereavement and has carried out extensive research in this area that is currently under review for publication. Alongside her clinical work, Rebecca is a university lecturer in Counselling and Psychotherapy and has a broad background working with looked after children, people who have experienced trauma, and individuals with learning disabilities.
Rebecca practises an integrative approach, combining person-centred counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy and attachment theory so she can tailor therapy to each person rather than relying on a single method. As a female, non-religious, liberal therapist, she brings clear values to her work: acceptance, trustworthiness, understanding, an open mind and a commitment to her clients’ success.
Therapy can offer meaningful, lasting change. Rebecca aims to work in ways that suit each client and is ready to support and empower those who wish to begin this process. She welcomes enquiries from prospective clients.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility: clients can connect with therapists in the way that suits them best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
All therapists providing online sessions are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they would prefer a different fit. Online therapy offers an accessible route to support for many everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
