Hello, I am Dr. Ralph Levinson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 27 years. I am also a Certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer. I earned my Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University and received my Masters degree in Social Work from Barry University. I earned my Bachelor degree in Science from The Ohio State University. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and I have been the School Social Work representative for the Broward Chapter of Florida Social Workers.
My areas of specialization include Bereavement/Grief work, Parenting/ Family therapy and Divorce Adjustment. I also work with Blended Families, Step-families, Adjustment disorders, Anxiety, mood disorders and a variety of other problems experienced by adults, and the elderly population.
I utilize a combination of traditional Psychotherapy, Solution-focused (brief) therapy, Family, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with experiential techniques that are enjoyable where the clients are active participants in their own treatment. I provide a safe, comfortable and non-threatening environment for those seeking help which enables them to open up and express their feelings, thoughts and emotions.
I am an avid film fan, love all genre’s of music, enjoy playing and watching sports and on an occasion I enjoy playing video games.

Dr. Ralph Levinson is a Florida-based clinical social worker with 35 years of experience helping adults and older adults navigate loss, family change, mood concerns and relationship challenges.
He holds a doctorate from Nova Southeastern University, a master of social work from Barry University, and a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University. He is a licensed clinical social worker in Florida – a credential that reflects his training and professional scope (FL LCSW, license SW3131). He is also a Certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. For a time he served as the School Social Work representative for the Broward Chapter of Florida social workers.
Dr. Levinson specializes in bereavement and grief work, parenting and family therapy, and divorce adjustment, and he also works with blended and step-families, adjustment disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, and a range of issues adults and older adults commonly face. His practice includes helping with stress, family conflicts, relationship and parenting issues, anger management, self-esteem, and coping with life changes.
His clinical approach blends traditional psychotherapy with solution-focused brief methods, family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and experiential techniques that invite active participation. He aims to provide a comfortable, non-threatening setting where people can express their feelings and work toward practical change.
