Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Washington State with ten years of experience working with people navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, and life-changing situations. It takes incredible mental and physical effort in order to be done successfully and therefore tests a person’s ability to challenge irrational beliefs.
My approach is solution-focused, client-centered, and strengths-based. I assist clients in identifying and challenging harmful thoughts and replacing them with a more realistic, healthy perspective. I work with individuals or couples to utilize the main components of cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based therapies. Cognitive therapy focuses mainly on thought patterns as responsible for negative emotional and behavioral patterns.
When working with clients, I make the therapy experience safe, respectful, authentic and affirming. You are the narrator and navigator of your life. You are the expert with unique values and needs. I enjoy working with clients open to making changes and creating meaningful fulfillment.

I have more than 15 years of experience in social services working with a range of people experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, family conflict, and symptoms of severe, persistent mental illness (SPMI). Over the past five years, I have worked in private practice with a wide range of mental and behavioral health needs. I can collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team – psychiatrists, primary care, and social service agencies.
Locating a therapist whose personality and style will assist you in developing the appropriate skills is essential but necessary. I look forward to helping those to effectively pursue their values and explore what keeps them from being the best version of themselves. Today is a good day to start.

Patricia Gordon is a Washington State licensed clinical social worker with 15 years of clinical experience supporting adults, couples, and families through a wide range of life challenges. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Washington School of Social Work, earned in 2011, and has spent the past five years in private practice after a long career in social services.
Her practice addresses stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship and family conflicts, addictions, intimacy-related concerns, LGBT issues, parenting challenges, self-esteem struggles, career difficulties, coping with life changes, coaching needs, and compassion fatigue. Patricia works with individuals and couples to identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop more realistic, healthier perspectives.
Patricia favors a client-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused approach. She integrates cognitive behavioral techniques, behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based practices, trauma-focused methods, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy to help clients build practical skills and make meaningful change.
In sessions she aims to offer a respectful, authentic, and affirming environment where clients are treated as the experts of their own lives. Patricia also collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, primary care providers, and social service agencies, to coordinate care when needed.
For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. This makes virtual care a viable option for people seeking support for everyday mental health and relationship issues.
One major advantage of online therapy is flexibility. Clients can connect in the way that suits them best – via video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Each participating therapist is a licensed professional, and clients may switch therapists if they prefer a different fit. Online therapy can therefore offer both professional care and the adaptability many people need to engage in consistent treatment.
