Hello! Thank you for reading my profile. I graduated from USF in 2002 with my masters in counseling and have been licensed as a LMHC in Florida since 2005. I have experience working with children and families in a variety of settings including non-profits, schools and private practice. I have helped in a wide range of areas including trauma, self-esteem, grief and loss, anxiety, life changes, parent-child relationships and more. Some of the modalities I use are cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered, solution-focused, and rational emotive behavior therapy.

Patricia Adams earned her master’s degree in counseling from the University of South Florida in 2002 and has held a Florida license as a mental health counselor since 2005. She is a licensed mental health counselor in Florida (license MH8449) and brings 10 years of professional experience to her work.
Her clinical background includes supporting children and families across non-profit organizations, school settings, and private practice. She has assisted clients with trauma and abuse, self-esteem concerns, grief and loss, anxiety, life changes, and parent-child relationship challenges, among other issues.
Patricia integrates several evidence-based approaches into her practice, including cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered methods, solution-focused strategies, and rational emotive behavior therapy.
