Onessa Robertson welcomes people who are ready to take a next step toward their well-being and healing. She offers a supportive, observant presence for those open to change, recognizing that life can leave lingering pain, confusion, or a need for rediscovery.
With 14 years of clinical experience, Onessa brings an eclectic, client-centered approach that aims to foster insight, encourage meaningful change, and help clients form new connections in their lives. She holds a Master of Arts and is a licensed clinical social worker, credentialed to practice in both Massachusetts and Florida.
Onessa works with a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, depression, family conflicts, grief, parenting challenges, anger management, career difficulties, coping with life changes, compassion fatigue, and ADHD. She has experience treating various mental health conditions such as post-traumatic stress, depression, and anxiety, and she supports people affected by sexual violence, abuse, grief, and relationship struggles.
Her practice includes individual, family, and couples work, conducted in both professional and volunteer settings at local and international levels. Onessa draws on multiple therapeutic methods to meet each person’s goals, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Play Therapy, Sandplay Therapy, Art Therapy, faith-based spirituality approaches, Motivational Interviewing, and the Gottman Level I method.
