Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, and thanks for wanting to learn more about me. My name is Neville Harson, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado. I’ve been a practicing therapist for over 15 years, and have practiced therapy in a variety of settings. I’ve worked with teens, adults and seniors; people who were ready to make a change in their lives, people who were going through difficult transitions. My goal is to co-create a working relationship with you where personal transformation is possible.
I don’t have a “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy. I meet clients where they are, and recognize that at different times, and for different people, different approaches are needed. The approach I use most often is Cognitive-Behavioral. What that means is that I’ll be asking you not only how you think and feel about an event or person, but what you tell yourself about it. I find it most helpful to assess a client’s strengths, rather than to diagnose their problems.
I can also take a solution-focused approach. This is an approach where we focus on one problem, and without going too deep, we come up with a solution or resolution to that problem.
At times, I wear a more traditional therapist hat, asking questions and encouraging you to explore your thoughts, feelings and actions. I may also act as a coach, giving you encouragement and providing emotional support as you do what it takes to make changes in your life. I can be direct, calling you on your old patterns when I see them. I can also listen and witness when you are in the vulnerable place of speaking from your heart. Your goals are important to me!
In my non-therapist life, I am a musician and photographer, and have a wide appreciation for the arts. If you are someone who considers yourself to be creative in any way, I’d love to work with you. Creative people often “get” other creative people–the way we move through the world in a slightly different way, and the creative challenges we set up for ourselves.

Neville Harson is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Colorado with more than 15 years of clinical experience. He has practiced in a variety of settings and has worked with teens, adults, and seniors, supporting people who are ready to make changes as well as those navigating difficult transitions.
He aims to co-create a collaborative working relationship that supports personal transformation. Harson does not use a one-size-fits-all method; he meets clients where they are and adapts his approach to their needs.
His work is most often informed by cognitive-behavioral techniques. That means he explores not only how a person thinks and feels about an event or relationship, but also the internal narratives they use to interpret it. He emphasizes assessing a client’s strengths rather than focusing solely on diagnostic labels.
He also offers a solution-focused approach when appropriate, concentrating on a single problem and working toward a practical resolution without extensive exploration of other areas.
At times he adopts a more traditional therapist role, asking questions and encouraging clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and actions. He may also act as a coach, providing encouragement and emotional support as clients take steps to change. He can be direct in pointing out recurring patterns, and he is equally prepared to listen and witness when clients speak from a vulnerable place. A client’s goals are central to his work.
Outside of therapy, Neville is a musician and photographer with a broad appreciation for the arts. He welcomes working with creative people, who often relate to one another through shared perspectives on how they move through the world.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the key advantages is flexibility. Clients can connect with a therapist in the way that feels most comfortable, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging, which can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients may switch therapists at any time if they want a different fit. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible, effective option for addressing everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
