Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, my name is Nereida Martinez and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in the state of Texas to provide psychotherapy services. I have over 16 years of experience as a therapist and almost 25 years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in different settings including community clinics, nonprofit organizations, the criminal justice system and in private practice. I believe my experience in these diverse settings has helped me understand people and their social, cultural and spiritual concerns in a more meaningful way. I have helped individual adults, teens and children cope with and heal from depression, anxiety and trauma. I have also helped them with concerns related to adjustment to life changes, managing and living with ADHD, parenting, relationships, and other concerns.
My goal as your therapist is to guide you, support you and encourage you to take the steps needed to meet your goals and overcome those obstacles in your life. I focus on providing a client-centered, accepting and safe environment during our sessions. I use techniques and modalities from different types of therapies, and I tailor the therapy to your individual needs.
Congratulations on taking the first step. I look forward to working with you and walking with you through your journey of change, self improvement and healing.

Many people wonder whether therapy delivered online can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Licensed professionals provide care through these remote options, and if someone feels they need a different therapeutic fit, they may switch to another therapist at any time.
Overall, online therapy offers an effective, adaptable way for many people to access professional support for mental health and life challenges.
