Natalie Jones is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who transitioned into therapy after a long career in the business world. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Wheelock College in Boston in 2006 while working full time and attending classes in the evenings, and she brings 18 years of clinical experience to her work.
Much of Natalie’s early clinical practice involved providing support to children and families, and she spent 15 years helping families navigate emotional challenges. Her experience includes working with clients in their homes as an individual therapist, offering emotional support and practical guidance.
Many of the people she has worked with have carried the effects of childhood trauma, addiction, emotional distress, depression, anxiety, and a range of other diagnoses. Natalie tailors treatment to each person, drawing on approaches such as cognitive behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, guided imagery, motivational coaching, and the Cycle of Change model.
As a clinician she emphasizes honest, trust-based relationships and aims to provide a nurturing environment where difficult emotions can be expressed. She values attentive listening, empathy, and compassion, and strives to remain open-minded and nonjudgmental as clients build trust. When appropriate she can be direct while maintaining gentleness and kindness.
Natalie believes therapy can help people shift harmful patterns and reach realistic goals through a collaborative process. She acknowledges that attitudes toward mental health care have improved over time and works with clients as a team to identify achievable steps forward.
For many common concerns - such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes - online therapy can be an effective option and has been shown to be comparable to traditional in-person treatment for these issues. It offers a practical way to access professional support without changing your daily routine.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect with therapists using the format that works best for them, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to schedule care around work, family, or other commitments.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to request a different therapist if they feel a better fit is needed. For many people, the combination of clinical expertise and flexible communication methods makes online therapy a convenient and effective path to addressing everyday mental health concerns.
