Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! I have been working with couples and individuals, specifically in the realm of kink-positive, sex-positive couples therapy, specializing in ethical and consensual non-monogamy, but empowering ALL relationships regardless of format and sex lives since opening my practice in 2007. My work focuses on developing stronger communication, a better understanding and awareness of our desires, driving forces, and developing a deeper connection between mind and body. I work to help people break down shame, guilt and to feel more positive, to develop healthier attitudes around sex, sexuality, gender, fluidity and more. I deal with relationship issues, and have extensive experience with ethical and consensual non monogamy (enm/cnm), polyamory, kink, LGBTQIA++, sex work, dating concerns, creative expression, sexual/social minorities, gender issues, BIPOC.
I have extensive experience working with trauma around religion and sex.
I feel that all things are interconnected. Our relationships cannot be healed unless we look at ourselves and vice versa. Our psychological experiences will have an affect on our bodies.

She is a licensed marriage and family therapist in California with 17 years of clinical experience.
Her work centers on strengthening communication, increasing awareness of desires and driving forces, and fostering a deeper connection between mind and body. She supports people in breaking down shame and guilt, cultivating more positive attitudes toward sex, sexuality, gender, and fluidity, and developing healthier approaches to intimacy and self-expression.
Moushumi addresses relationship concerns and brings extensive experience with ethical and consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, kink, LGBTQIA++ identities, sex work, dating issues, creative expression, sexual and social minorities, gender-related matters, and working with BIPOC communities. Areas she commonly helps with include polyamory and consensual non-monogamy, sex therapy, general relationship concerns, LGBTQ matters, support for transgender, agender, and non-binary people, infidelity, sexual trauma, fear of intimacy, low sexual desire and arousal difficulties, feelings of guilt or anxiety around sex, uncertainty about sexual orientation or gender, emotional or love addictions, career changes, and navigating breakups. Her specialties also encompass LGBT-related work, relationship coaching, stress and anxiety, family issues, trauma and abuse, grief, sleep concerns, self-esteem, coping with life changes, and compassion fatigue, all within her California practice.
