Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
“the best way out is always through “- Robert Frost.
My name is Monje Moore; please allow me to assist you in these troubling times. Your “through” may be overcoming anxiety, depression, parenting, relationships, self-esteem, life transition. No matter what, I am more than happy to assist. I am a NY State Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I graduated from Long Island University with a master’s degree in counseling and development and holding a certification in school counseling.
Additionally, I have worked in a variety of positions, including clinician, therapeutic social worker, foster parent trainer, parenting skills instructor, school counselor, and school administrator. I have worked with individuals and families to address several concerns centered around mental health issues. These concerns include Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depressive Disorder, Dissociative Disorder, and Neurodevelopmental Disorder.
My treatment approach is deeply rooted in the foundations of Person-Centered Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy. I integrate Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused therapy as modalities to assist clients in improving quality of life.
I aim to provide clients with a safe and confidential space to discuss and work through issues that interfere with them, achieving optimum mental health status.
