Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, all!
I am licensed in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Ohio with over 13 years of professional work experience in the field of psychotherapy. I have experience in helping clients with anxiety, addiction, grief and loss, depression, self -esteem issues, and non-acceptance of the here-and-now. My therapy style combines mainly Gestalt therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solutions-Focused Therapy. Concepts from other types of therapy are used as well.
To be human means to suffer, at least some of the time. But you don’t have to go it alone. I am here to assist you in your journey toward self-growth, more understanding of others, and a greater sense of peace. I can help you gain self-awareness so that you can take down those barriers that have kept you from making and achieving your goals. With the right insight and skills, you can evolve into a wiser version of yourself! AND you can be more accepting of the person you are right now!

Miriam Reeves is a licensed therapist with practice authorization in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Ohio. She holds two professional credentials: NC LCSW C012760 and SC LISW-CP 10051, which indicate her licensure as a clinical social worker in North Carolina and as an independent clinical social worker in South Carolina. She brings more than 13 years of professional experience to her psychotherapy work and is based in North Carolina.
Her clinical focus includes anxiety, addiction, grief and loss, depression, struggles with self-esteem, and challenges accepting the here-and-now. Miriam blends several therapeutic approaches to meet each person’s needs, drawing primarily from Gestalt therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solutions-Focused Therapy, while also incorporating concepts from other modalities when helpful.
She works with people who are ready to increase self-awareness, remove barriers that block progress, and develop the skills needed to pursue meaningful goals. Miriam aims to support clients in cultivating greater understanding of themselves and others, reducing suffering where possible, and fostering a wiser, more accepting relationship with who they are in the present moment.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main benefits is flexibility. People can meet with a therapist in the way that best fits their schedule and comfort level – through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility often makes it easier to keep therapy consistent amid busy lives.
These services are provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and if the match is not ideal a client may choose to switch providers at any time. For many, online therapy offers an accessible and practical option for getting support and making progress on mental health goals.
