Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello there!! My name is Michelle (Ms.) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with New York State. I have over 15+ years of experience treating individuals from young-adult to elder-adult life stages, and from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures. I’ve spent over 9 years primarily working in a jail-based setting, designing and conducting Dialectical Behavior Therapy based treatment groups and individual therapy sessions. I believe in unconditional acceptance and do no harm. I tend to have an adaptive approach to the therapeutic process as the client’s needs evolve, and I will likely incorporate different therapeutic techniques and treatment combinations. Whether you just need a sounding-board, or want longer-term support, I will do my best to assist you and guide you through this part of your journey. I am currently offering more shorter-term and solutions-focused therapeutic services which can be adjusted based on therapeutic needs, and will include various grounding and mindfulness exercises as requested. Please note that I am currently available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Early morning, late night, or alternative day appointments may be available upon request. Feel free to review some of my experience points listed below and to ask me any questions. If you feel I might be a good fit for your needs, I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can meet with a therapist in the way that fits their schedule and comfort level, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to include therapy in a busy life.
Therapists who offer online care are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they would prefer a different fit. For many people dealing with everyday mental health concerns, online therapy provides an accessible, practical option for consistent support and treatment.
