For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person work. Research and practice have shown that remote sessions work well for these issues for a large number of people.
A major benefit is flexibility. People can connect in the way that suits them best – by video call, phone, live chat or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life or when travel is difficult.
All therapists offering online sessions are licensed professionals, and clients can change therapists at any time if they need a different fit. For many, the combination of professional support and flexible access makes online therapy a practical and effective option for addressing everyday mental health challenges.
