Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, I’m Michael and I would like to offer you a very warm welcome to my practice.
I am a highly trained Person-Centred practitioner who is genuinely caring and understanding of what has brought you here to seek counselling. I am non-judgemental and open to acceptance of whatever it is you bring into the therapeutic space; this means I value you as a unique individual within your own right. Equality and diversity is at the forefront of my practice and you should expect to be treated in a respectful and dignified manner.
I understand that counselling can be a difficult journey, sometimes dark, challenging, and at times overwhelming. However, as your therapist, I will be at your side throughout the journey, no matter how bumpy or different twists there are in the road ahead. If you feel that you are ready or seeking the desire to overcome some of the barriers that are causing you to experience unwanted thoughts and feelings that are painful, then this is the first step into discovering that you have the capacity to alter your way of being.
As a fully trained, qualified counsellor who has experience of working with many different people over the course of 4 years of practice, I will be able to offer you a safe and supportive environment where you will be heard, respected and able to explore what is going on for you without feeling judged or worried of what you might say in counselling. Understandably, finding someone to talk to is not always an easy thing to do, let alone find someone who may be able to understand you and your situation.
The aim of my therapeutic practice will always be to help you understand, manage and be better equipped to deal with feelings, being able to name feelings more accurately and express them more freely. Ultimately, the aim of Person-Centred practice is to increase self-worth and autonomy to enable the individual to feel more fulfilled in life.
If this sounds like something you feel I could help you with, please feel free to get in touch to see how I can help to best support your needs.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes – online therapy is comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main benefits is flexibility. Clients can connect in the format that suits them best – via video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapy provided online is delivered by licensed professionals, and if someone feels they need a different match, it is possible to switch therapists. This combination of accessibility and professional support makes online therapy a practical option for many people seeking help.
