Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I have been working at helping people since 1988. I received a Masters in counseling in 1995 and got the Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor certificate in Illinois in 2002. I’d like to begin by saying I feel very fortunate to be able to walk with people on their path to healing. I will try to engender trust with you by being genuine and respectful. I’ve had some success at helping people overcome trauma, depression, and anxiety. Mostly I start by helping people change their choices a little at a time. The hope is that these changes will lead to changes in thoughts; and eventually changes in feelings. Along the way, we often work through resolving issues of motivation and confidence. To accomplish all of this we will likely use a number of proven tools such as mindfulness practice and thought regulation. My goal is to help you make changes as we go along working with you to guide the process and help you develop and accomplish your goals.

Mark Beiser has been helping people since 1988. He earned a Master of Counseling in 1995 and became a licensed clinical professional counselor in Illinois in 2002. He says he feels fortunate to walk alongside people on their path to healing and works to build trust through genuineness and respect.
He has had success assisting people in overcoming trauma, depression, and anxiety. His approach often begins with small, practical changes in behavior – changes intended to reshape thoughts and, over time, feelings. Throughout this process he addresses motivation and confidence as part of lasting progress.
To support change, he draws on proven tools such as mindfulness practice and techniques for regulating thoughts. His goal is to guide clients through the therapeutic process while helping them define and achieve meaningful goals.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly make a difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One clear benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that fits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility often makes it easier to integrate therapy into a busy schedule and maintain continuity of care.
These services are provided by licensed professionals, and if someone decides they would prefer a different therapist, switching is an option. Online therapy offers a practical and accessible way to address everyday mental health needs while working toward personal goals.
