Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, my name is Marie. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Maine and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State. I attended Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon and graduated with my M.A. in Counseling in 2017.
My approach to therapy is to adapt therapies that are best aligned to the specific needs of the client. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-centered Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
I view counseling as a team effort where the client and counselor agree to work together to help you, the client, to recognize strengths, identify needs, understand conflicts, discover new options, set personal development goals, and make informed choices.
It takes courage to seek counseling to work on personal issues. I believe that through counseling hope and healing can be experienced. I have personally benefited from counseling and would consider it an honor to assist you on your journey to hope and healing.

Many people wonder whether virtual counseling can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – individuals can connect in the format that works best for them, whether that is video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients may switch to a different therapist at any time if they feel a different fit would be better. Online therapy offers a convenient option for pursuing support while maintaining many of the same therapeutic approaches used in face-to-face care.
