Marie Campbell is a licensed counselor based in Maine who also holds a Washington State mental health counseling license. She earned her M.A. in Counseling from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon in 2017 and brings six years of clinical experience to her practice.
Her approach adapts therapeutic methods to match each person’s needs. She draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-centered Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy to create a tailored plan for change.
Marie views counseling as a collaborative process in which counselor and client work together to identify strengths, clarify needs, understand conflicts, explore new options, set personal goals, and make informed choices. She recognizes the courage it takes to seek help, believes that hope and healing are possible through counseling, and has personally benefited from therapy. Marie considers it an honor to support others on their journey toward hope and healing.
Many people wonder whether virtual counseling can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility - individuals can connect in the format that works best for them, whether that is video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients may switch to a different therapist at any time if they feel a different fit would be better. Online therapy offers a convenient option for pursuing support while maintaining many of the same therapeutic approaches used in face-to-face care.
