Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I’m Luke Tervola, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Minnesota with over 15 years of professional work experience in the mental health field. I have experience in helping clients with depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse, difficult life changes, grief and loss. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I have experience in using therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) techniques and resources. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. In my free time I enjoy hiking, vegetable gardening, concerts, and cheering on the Vikings, Twins, and Wild.
At this time I am only seeing clients via messaging and live chat sessions. As a result, while my practice is informed by the above modalities, some interventions such as those from EMDR may be limited or not applicable for messaging and live chat sessions.

Luke A Tervola is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota (MN LICSW 20767) with seven years of experience providing mental health care. He works with adults on a range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, grief and loss, self-esteem, addictions, relationship and career challenges, bipolar disorder, ADHD, compassion fatigue, and coping with life changes. He aims to create an open, nonjudgmental space where clients can share thoughts and feelings and explore steps toward greater well-being.
His clinical approach draws from evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and techniques from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Because he is currently offering sessions only via messaging and live chat, some interventions – including aspects of EMDR – may be limited or not applicable in that format. Luke approaches therapeutic work with a supportive, coaching-oriented stance and encourages the courage it takes to pursue a more fulfilling life.
Outside of his practice he enjoys hiking, vegetable gardening, attending concerts, and cheering for the Vikings, Twins, and Wild.
