Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I have been in the helping profession for over 30 years and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-LMFT since 1998. I believe that the school of life brings us to many places and brings forth many challenges. The way we respond to the challenges is about perspective. I believe that reconnection to yourself is an important place to start. Life can become a maze of work, family, and obligations, loosing yourself is easy to do, and finding yourself can be difficult.
My style is to work with what you bring to session. My only agenda is to work with what you feel is calling you loudest. From there, I help you to begin to find your own voice, since that is what is most important. I believe that you know what the next steps are, my job is to help guide you there.
In addition to being an LMFT, I am also a certified holistic life coach. I use a cognitive approach in my practice. I am trained to use EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique, otherwise known as tapping. This is an effective tool when dealing with many issues including stress reduction, anxiety, and chronic pain relief.
I honor your choice to begin to take your life in a new direction and look forward to working with you.

Lorraine “Lorrie” Urbaniak brings a compassionate, perspective-centered approach to therapy and coaching. With 13 years of clinical experience, she is licensed in Colorado as a marriage and family therapist and works with individuals facing a wide range of life challenges.
She believes that reconnecting with oneself is often the right place to begin when life becomes a maze of work, family, and obligations. Losing a sense of self can happen easily; finding a clear path forward can take guidance and time.
Lorrie’s therapeutic style is to focus on what each person brings to session. Her primary agenda is to address the concern that feels most pressing, helping clients discover and strengthen their own voice while guiding them toward the next steps they already sense are needed.
In addition to her licensure, she is a certified holistic life coach and uses a cognitive approach in her work. She is trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as tapping, a tool she applies when addressing stress, anxiety, and chronic pain relief.
She respects each person’s decision to move in a new direction and welcomes the opportunity to support those ready to make changes in their lives.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. Research and experience indicate that, for these issues, remote therapy often delivers comparable outcomes to face-to-face care.
One major benefit of online therapy is flexibility. People can choose the mode of connection that feels most comfortable to them – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they seek a different fit. This approach can make consistent support more accessible while maintaining the professional standards expected of clinical practice.
