Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Life is never a linear journey and when it throws you a curve ball, it’s important that you have someone to talk to, be this a family member or a friend. Sometimes though, you may not feel you can talk to those closest to you and an impartial ear is what you seek. That’s where I can help. My name is Lisa and as an Advanced Psychotherapist experienced in supporting clients with mental health challenges ranging from Stress, Anxiety and Depression to Trauma and Abuse, I am able to support you through a therapeutic journey towards a resolution to the issue(s) that are causing you distress and getting in the way of you living a more fulfilling life.
By exploring where your thoughts, feelings and behaviour originate from, you can achieve a renewed understanding of your current behaviour, reach acceptance and begin to work towards moving forward and replacing unhelpful ones with healthy, positive ones that lead to you feeling more emotionally balanced.
I take the view that no single approach can treat a client in all situations, rather that the person is an individual and the counselling approach should be tailed to their individual needs and presenting issue. There are many ways in which thoughts, feelings and behaviours can be explored, with all theories having a place of value within an overall treatment plan but what makes my approach highly effective is the person-centred core values of trust, congruence, non-judgement and integrity that I will have for you and your issue. Your therapy plan will be flexible, taken at your pace and focused on you as a whole person.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

Lisa Coleman is an Advanced Psychotherapist based in the United Kingdom with three years of clinical experience supporting people through a range of mental health challenges. She works with issues including stress, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, depression, coping with life changes, relationship and family difficulties, trauma and abuse, eating concerns, parenting and anger, as well as career issues, coaching needs and ADHD.
By helping clients explore where their thoughts, feelings and behaviours begin, Lisa guides people toward a clearer understanding of their current patterns. That exploration can lead to acceptance and to replacing unhelpful responses with healthier, more balanced ways of coping that support emotional wellbeing.
Lisa believes no single model fits every person, so she adapts her therapeutic approach to suit each individual and the concern they bring. Her work is rooted in person-centred values – trust, congruence, non-judgement and integrity – and treatment plans are kept flexible, paced to the client and focused on the whole person.
Seeking change takes courage, and Lisa aims to support and empower those ready to take the first steps toward a more fulfilling life. She looks forward to working with people who are prepared to begin that journey.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and navigating life changes, online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One major benefit is practicality – online sessions let you connect in the way that suits you best, whether that is a video call, a phone conversation, a live chat or messaging within an app. That flexibility can make it easier to build therapy into a busy life and to keep up with regular sessions.
Therapists providing online care are licensed professionals, and if someone does not feel like the right fit they can change to a different therapist at any time. For many people, the combination of proven effectiveness and flexible access makes online therapy a useful option to consider.
