Lindsey Hoffman welcomes people who are taking the important step of seeking additional support and emphasizes that recognizing the need for help is something to be proud of. She aims to be a good fit for those beginning this journey and understands how meaningful it is to find the right person to help navigate challenges.
She has worked as a social worker for four years, with much of her clinical experience focused on postpartum mood disorders, family conflict, parenting concerns, and life transitions. Lindsey has also supported military families, adolescents, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
In her work she meets clients where they are, listens with care, and offers steady support while exploring current strengths, concerns, and needs. Together with each client she develops clear goals for therapy and draws on a strengths-based perspective. Lindsey uses evidence-informed approaches tailored to individual needs, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Lindsey is a licensed clinical social worker in Hawaii (LCSW-4533). Previous clients have described her as nonjudgmental, caring, authentic, and friendly. She appreciates the courage it takes to reach out and looks forward to working with new clients.
