Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I have been a practicing Social Worker for nearly 30 years in the DFW area. In addition to my practice experience, my 20 years of experience as a faculty member at a local university allows me to empathize and support young adults who may be transitioning from college to work. I also have extensive experience working with families of all ages who have difficulties with stress and communication. I specialize in working with individuals and families to heal and join together to become healthy, whole members of their homes and communities. I believe I encourage others to successfully navigate what can often be a difficult life path. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, & talk therapy. I use solution focused methods and educate clients on how to use that will help develop long term success. I believe the relationship between therapist and client is a working team that begins with assessing the situation, setting goals, and developing a plan. I can help any person who has difficulty with relationships at home or work. I am available for individuals who feel emotionally overwhelmed and misdirected. My passion is helping others help themselves. I look forward to working together to help you navigate life. Once you have selected to work with me, I will contact you within 24 hours to get started. I will likely contact you sooner than that. However, if it is an emergency, please follow the guidelines indicated for clients of BetterHelp. Call 911 if you believe you are in a crisis situation. Again, I look forward to working with you.

For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. Research and clinical practice indicate that these types of issues can respond well to remote care.
One major advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that fits their schedule and comfort level, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility can make it easier to maintain regular sessions and integrate therapy into a busy life.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and if a particular clinician is not the right match, clients are able to switch to a different therapist. Online therapy can offer a practical, accessible option for people seeking support for common mental health and life challenges.
