She uses a person-centered approach grounded in unconditional positive regard, focusing on each person’s needs, strengths, and goals. Through patience and acceptance she assists clients in recognizing problems, understanding symptoms, and developing practical skills that support growth and resilience.
Kourtney specializes in areas including stress, anxiety, relationship and intimacy concerns, self-esteem and depression, addictions, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, parenting challenges, anger management, bipolar disorder, coping with life changes, compassion fatigue, and ADHD. She guides individuals to identify where they are, clarify where they want to be, and create tangible objectives to move forward.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Albany State University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University. Kourtney is a licensed professional counselor in Georgia and brings a supportive, collaborative style to therapy as she walks alongside clients in their healing and personal development.
