Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I have been licensed and practicing since 1995. I studied psychology as an undergraduate at Vanderbilt University. I got my masters in Clinical Social Work with the intention of becoming a therapist. I have a strength based perspective and believe it is important to recognize strengths as well as vulnerabilities. We are all imperfect and we are all survivors. I think the benefits of therapy are perspective, accountability, support and growth. Hopefully, therapy goes beyond insight and self awareness to include a sense of choice in how we respond to the challenges of life. My techniques are grounded in well established and proven approaches and the process is very much a team effort. At the outset we’ll review your history focusing on the experiences and relationships that have affected you. We’ll identify your objectives and map out a plan and focus for our work which we’ll review and maybe revise periodically. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Kim Padula is a licensed clinical social worker in Tennessee with 26 years of experience offering psychotherapy and clinical support. She completed undergraduate studies in psychology at Vanderbilt University and earned a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work with the intention of becoming a practicing therapist.
Kim uses a strength-based perspective that attends to both personal assets and vulnerabilities, grounded in the view that everyone is imperfect and resilient. She sees therapy as a space for perspective, accountability, support, and growth, and aims to help people move beyond insight and self-awareness toward a clearer sense of choice in how they respond to life’s challenges.
Her clinical methods are rooted in well-established, evidence-informed approaches, and she approaches the work as a collaborative team effort. Early sessions focus on a review of history, emphasizing the experiences and relationships that have shaped the person, followed by identification of goals and a mapped plan of focus that can be reviewed and adjusted over time.
Those interested in learning more or asking questions are encouraged to contact Kim Padula to discuss therapy options.
For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and transitions in life – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. It is a viable option for people seeking support for these kinds of challenges.
One of the primary advantages is flexibility. Clients can connect in the format that fits their life and comfort level, whether that is a video call, a phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options often makes it easier to prioritize consistent care.
All therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and clients may choose to switch therapists at any time if they would prefer a different clinical fit. Online therapy can provide a practical, accessible way to engage in ongoing therapeutic work while maintaining the standards of professional practice.
