Hi, I’m Kenya, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Approved Clinical Supervisor practicing in Louisiana since 2011. I am also licensed in Georgia and Texas as an LPC. I graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Master’s in General Counseling & Guidance. My interest in mental health began when I took a dual enrollment psychology course in high school. I later worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at a mental health agency and decided I wanted to help people who experience mental health matters.
I currently work with adults on managing Anxiety, Anger Management, Family Issues, ADD, ADHD, ODD, Career, and Academic. I utilize cognitive behavioral and rational emotive therapy in a client centered manner. I am empathetic and provide a safe, welcoming environment for clients to discuss goals and concerns.
I believe therapy is all about the client and I am the tool to help you get back to a comfortable level of functioning. I look forward to working with you!

Many people wonder whether meeting with a therapist online can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and adjusting to life changes, online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
A major benefit of online therapy is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This versatility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to maintain continuity of care.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals and clients have the option to switch therapists if they need a different fit. For many common mental health and life challenges, online therapy offers an accessible, practical option to engage with a qualified therapist and work toward personal goals.
