She provides counseling by appointment using chat messaging only and does not offer video or phone sessions. Clients must be physically located in and be residents of Ohio to receive services from her, as her licensure covers Ohio only.
Her clinical focus includes anxiety, anger management, emotion regulation, depression (excluding severe treatment-resistant depression or anxiety when symptoms have not responded despite adequate treatment), stress management, relaxation, mindfulness, trauma, grief and bereavement, self-esteem and confidence, assertive communication, healthy boundary development, anger issues, and social anxiety. For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adjusting to life changes, online therapy can make a meaningful difference. Research and clinical experience indicate that for these issues, online therapy is often comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One key advantage is flexibility. People can connect with therapists in the format that fits their needs and schedule – for example through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to integrate therapy into daily life. This adaptability can remove practical barriers and help sustain consistent care.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and many allow clients to change therapists if they need a different fit. If someone is weighing whether to try online therapy, considering factors like the specific concern, preferred communication style, and scheduling needs can help determine whether it is a good option.
