Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with 10 years of professional work experience. I support clients who face challenges associated with anxiety, depression, motivation, self-esteem, romantic relationships, and parenting. I have also worked with people who have substance use issues and severe mental illness.
I take a person centered approach to my work, helping clients identify and expand personal strengths and resources to meet identified goals. I truly believe we each have the internal resources needed to heal emotional and psychological wounds in order to bring forward our best selves. My intention is to help clients meet their personal goals by helping them clarify their values, identify barriers to change (thoughts, feelings, and circumstances), and take action that aligns their behavior with personal values.
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic with acceptance commitment therapy, and motivational interviewing. I will tailor our work together to meet your unique and specific needs.
My personal and professional experiences have taught me to be receptive to and appreciative of differences, so I approach my work with an open mind and heart. Trust is essential to the success of our work together, so I strive to create a safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
Making a commitment to change ones’ way of being often comes with mixed feelings of excitement and fear. While change can be difficult, it is through the hard work of honest self-exploration and earnest action that transformation occurs. By seeking help to fulfill your life goals, you are showing a tremendous degree of courage. I am here to support you in that process and look forward to joining you on this journey of self-discovery and growth.
