I offer clients opportunities and a pathway to discover their strengths and gain confidence through lives challenges. In our sessions we will explore unhealthy thought patterns adopted throughout life which are incongruent in reaching clients goals. We will focus on what is in your control and how to respond in a less reactive way. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in addition to Solution Focused. I specialize in working with adults in transitional stages of life: grief and loss, divorce, parenthood, just to name a few. I am certified in Maternal Mental Health, working with pregnant and postpartum women, along with dads. I have raised 4 adult children in the last 28 years giving me unique experiences to support other parents. I also have a rural background as I was raised on a dairy farm in rural Kansas. I am looking forward to connecting and supporting clients throughout lives challenges, recognizing their strengths and abilities.

She works with adults facing stress, anxiety, depression, relationship and family concerns, grief and loss, and the changes that come with divorce or parenthood. In sessions she explores unhealthy thought patterns that no longer serve clients and emphasizes what is within their control – helping them respond in less reactive ways.
Kathryn uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with Solution-Focused techniques to create clear pathways toward clients’ goals. She is certified in Maternal Mental Health and provides support to pregnant and postpartum women as well as fathers.
As an older female therapist raised on a dairy farm in rural Kansas, Kathryn brings life experience to her clinical work, including raising four children over the past 28 years. She is licensed in Kansas as a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) – license number 4895. Kathryn looks forward to connecting with clients and supporting them as they recognize their strengths and abilities.
