I have a Master’s Degree in Professional Clinical Counseling and also hold credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been in the field for 9 years and have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns; including depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, trauma, grief, life transitions, and more. As a standard practice, I approach the therapeutic relationship with an acute sensitivity and respect for multi/cross-cultural factors and influence.
I strive to treat the therapeutic relationship, and you, with compassion, respect, and warmth. My counseling style is engaging and person-first. It is important to me to be able to collaborate with you and meet you where you are at in each interaction by incorporating different therapeutic techniques. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, person-centered, trauma informed, and solution focused. Identifying and setting your goals is a team-effort, and together we will work at your comfort level to effectively establish and achieve goals that are tailored to your life while developing healthy skills that encouraging self-discovery.
Outside of my career, I enjoy being outdoors. I enjoy taking walks along trails and parks. I am working towards getting back into jogging. I’ve played sports and currently play softball on weekends. I strongly advocate the concept of self-care and finding an overall balance in one’s life.

She brings twelve years of experience working with a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, addictions and substance use disorders, trauma and abuse, depression, grief, life transitions, anger management, self-esteem issues, and bipolar disorder.
She approaches therapy with compassion, respect, and warmth, maintaining an engaging, person-first style that emphasizes collaboration. Kathleen is attentive to cultural and cross-cultural influences and tailors each session to meet clients where they are, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, person-centered, trauma-informed, and solution-focused methods to help clients identify and reach meaningful goals.
Goal-setting is treated as a team effort, with pacing and techniques adjusted to each person’s comfort level. Her work focuses on building practical skills that support self-discovery and long-term coping.
