Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome! I’m Kate, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina and I have been working in the counseling field since 2014. I have worked with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, ADHD, mood dysregulation, parenting challenges, career challenges, addiction, and major life stress. I provide solution-focused interventions that help you accomplish your goals.
I strive to create a counseling experience that feels safe, engaging, and non-judgmental. My therapeutic approach starts with person-centered theory, which allows the client to guide the therapy at their own pace, in a supported environment. I often blend in cognitive behavioral therapy, which focuses on the relationship between thoughts and behaviors; existential therapy, which focuses on how fear and anxiety manifest; motivational interviewing, which can highlight contradictions between our beliefs and actions; and, if interested, art therapy which utilizes creative expression to provide a different way to communicate and facilitate change. I will tailor the therapy based on your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to work towards a fulfilling and happier life. It is a privilege to be here to assist, support, and empower you on your journey.
I look forward to working with you!
