Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi! My name is Katie and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have been practicing since January 2011 and have worked with individuals of all ages, children, and couples presenting with many different life experiences. I obtained my Master’s Degree from Texas State University in 2011 in Professional Counseling. My internship experience included a bereavement group and a center for families experiencing trauma. I have training in Trust Based Relational Intervention and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My primary treatment approach comes from Person Centered Theory and Narrative Theory.
As a counselor, I aim to walk alongside my clients and their individual journey, whatever that may be while providing unconditional positive regard, genuineness, and authenticity along with support and insight. I believe that each person is their own expert, but sometimes professional help can assist persons in achieving their best self. I look forward to helping all those who are ready for their healing journey to begin!

Many people ask whether remote counseling really helps. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that fits their schedule and comfort level, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to integrate therapy into a busy life.
Sessions are delivered by licensed professionals and clients have the option to change therapists at any time if they seek a different match. Online therapy can provide a practical, accessible route to support for everyday mental health concerns.
