Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a qualified counsellor in the UK with 5 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, motivation, self esteem, and confidence to name a few. I also have experience working with career difficulties, grief and family issues. Additionally I worked for charities including an historical sexual abuse charity and a women’s charity during my training, which both gave me valuable knowledge and experience for private practice.
I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. We will work together to explore the right solutions for you over a number of sessions (average 12 weeks or longer) It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change and autonomy. I am here to support & empower you in that journey to help you find the solutions and answers that are right for you.
I work in private practice in Nottingham, as well as for BetterHelp, and I also enjoy volunteering my services to charity in order to give something back to the community.
I look forward to building a working relationship with you and supporting your growth.

Justine Poyser is a qualified counsellor based in the United Kingdom who brings four years of professional experience to her practice. She has supported people facing stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, low motivation, and challenges with self-esteem and confidence. Her work has also covered career difficulties, grief and family issues.
During training Justine volunteered with an historical sexual abuse charity and a women’s charity, experiences that contributed valuable knowledge she now draws on in private practice. She believes that people are the experts in their own stories and that they already hold strengths which can help them move through what feels difficult.
Working collaboratively, Justine aims to explore solutions tailored to each person across a course of sessions – typically around 12 weeks or longer depending on need. Seeking change takes courage, and she offers support and encouragement to help clients find responses that feel right for them.
Justine works in private practice in Nottingham, also provides therapy via an online service, and continues to volunteer her time with charities to give back to the community. She looks forward to building a therapeutic relationship and supporting personal growth.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For a wide range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and managing life changes – online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional face-to-face sessions for most individuals.
One major benefit is flexibility. People can choose the format that fits their life and comfort level – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to access support without disrupting daily routines.
Therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists if they prefer a different match. This approach can make consistent therapy more attainable while preserving the clinical standards of in-person work.
