Justina Janda is a clinical mental health counselor who approaches care from a holistic, compassionate, and nonjudgmental perspective. She holds a certification in Perinatal Mental Health to support people during pregnancy and the postpartum period, and she emphasizes spiritually integrated psychotherapy when a client’s faith or spiritual framework is relevant to healing.
Her work also incorporates mindfulness practices to help clients notice emotions, bodily sensations, thoughts, and behavioral patterns with greater clarity. While she has specialized training in perinatal and spiritually informed care, she also has extensive experience supporting people facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, questions of life purpose, major life transitions, relationship challenges, existential concerns, and self-esteem struggles.
With seven years of clinical experience and licensure as a clinical mental health counselor in North Carolina (license NC LCMHC 14647), Justina tailors therapy to each person’s unique mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. She believes growth and healing are more possible when someone feels seen and heard, and she creates a therapeutic space aimed at meeting individuals where they are.
Outside of sessions, Justina often spends time playing with her toddler, gardening, or exploring ideas about the intersection of psychology and spirituality—interests that keep her grounded and curious about the many pathways to healing.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy truly makes a difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care for most people.
One of the main benefits is flexibility - clients can meet with therapists in the format that fits their life best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility helps make therapy more accessible and easier to schedule around work, family, and other commitments.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists at any time if they feel a different fit would be helpful. For many people, the convenience and comparable effectiveness of online therapy make it a practical option for addressing a wide range of mental health and life concerns.
