Judith Geneus is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor practicing in Florida. She earned a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University in December 2018, and holds state licensure as a mental health counselor (FL LMHC MH20630), a credential that authorizes her to provide professional counseling services.
Over the past three years she has provided mental health, academic, and career counseling across a variety of settings to children, teenagers, adults, and couples. Her areas of focus include family conflicts, grief and loss, intimacy-related issues, self-esteem and confidence, career difficulties, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, parenting concerns, anger management, depression, coping with life changes, coaching, compassion fatigue, and ADHD.
Her therapeutic style centers on a person-centered approach - she meets clients where they are with empathy and without judgment - while also integrating a range of counseling techniques tailored to each person’s goals. As a Christian and a counselor, she is committed to walking alongside people who are hurting, providing a gentle and safe space for vulnerability and honesty, and supporting the process of healing. She recognizes how difficult it can feel to seek help and honors the courage it takes to begin the journey toward mental and emotional wellness.
Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, research and practice indicate that online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A key advantage is practical flexibility. Clients can connect in the way that works best for them - through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging - which often makes it easier to fit counseling into a busy schedule.
These services are delivered by licensed professionals and therapists who offer evidence-informed care. If a client feels a different therapeutic fit would be more helpful, they can request a change of therapist at any time.
