Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am an older out/open/proud transgender man. I have expertise and extensive experience in serving transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming clients. I prefer to serve my own community members but do not discriminate toward others. I am licensed as a therapist in Washington state, as both a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), with 43 years of professional counseling experience. My professional background also includes having worked as a Psychiatric Physician Associate for 41 years. Before my career in human medicine and mental health, I worked for 20+ years as a Veterinary Medical Assistant and understand the value of animal companions and of the natural environment in supporting healthy living. I have experience in treating clients who have ADHD, an autism spectrum disorder, chronic pain/chronic illness and/or end-of-life concerns, sleeping disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and depression.
I believe that you are the expert on your own story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Making the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started. I am looking forward to working with you to find solutions to reach your goals in therapy.

He has deep experience serving transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people and prefers to work with members of his own community while remaining open to clients from all backgrounds.
He is licensed to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in both California and Washington, and he also holds Washington licensure as a Mental Health Counselor. He also has experience helping people who are on the autism spectrum, living with chronic pain or chronic illness, or facing end-of-life issues.
Jude approaches therapy with the belief that each person is the expert on their own life and that they already possess strengths to help them overcome challenges. He recognizes the courage it takes to begin therapy and looks forward to collaborating with clients to identify practical solutions and reach their goals.
For many everyday concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or coping with life transitions – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care. Evidence shows that remote sessions work well for those common issues and can produce meaningful benefits over time.
A major advantage of remote therapy is flexibility. Clients can connect in the format that fits their routine and comfort level, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. That variety makes it easier to maintain consistency and integrate therapy into a busy life.
All sessions are provided by licensed professionals, and clients may switch therapists if they seek a different fit. If you are weighing options, consider how convenience, access, and communication style align with your needs when deciding whether online therapy is a good next step.
