I am licensed in the UK with 6 years of professional work experience. I completed my BA in Psychology, Psychotherapy and Counselling in Lancashire, following up with my Masters in Integrative Counselling in Melbourne, Australia.
I have worked as a School Counsellor in a large International School in Singapore for several years and has experienced of a varied client range with a number of presenting issues.
Much of my experience has been supporting and counselling adults and young people that have suffered Domestic Violence and Trauma . I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I also have several years of experience of
working with Children and Young People that have additional needs and their siblings/families.
My Integrative training means that I draw on a number of theories and traditions of therapeutic work; including Attachment theory, Play therapy, Person-Centred and CBT and Solution-Focused approaches.
I believe that every person is unique and I value them
as individuals with their own mind, views and way of seeing the world. As an Integrative therapist, I am able to work in a way that is responsive to individual needs.
I work in a person-led way, which can include creative work and talk, to help process thoughts and feelings in a way that is comfortable and natural for them.
