Hi – I’m Jodi Pilcher Gordon and I am a registered integrative counsellor, trained and highly experienced in working with clients online who are struggling with stress and anxiety.
Perhaps you are finding it hard to cope lately and just not feeling yourself. Maybe you feel overwhelmed a lot of the time, and you don’t know how to get back to balance. You might be finding it hard to socialise, or to cope with work or studies. You could be struggling with difficult or obsessive thoughts and behaviours.
I support adults coping with a range of difficulties that result in anxiety and stress, from the everyday life, to challenges such as life events, relationship issues and workplace or academic stresses.
In our therapy I will teach you techniques that will help you cope better in your daily life straightaway. Alongside we will have up to six therapy sessions together online, by telephone or live chat. In our therapy sessions I will be listening hard to what is going on for you as an individual and helping you to work through your own unique challenges.
My practice is person-centred, which is all about seeing you as an individual who has their own personal experiences. I combine CBT and Transactional Analysis in my specialist Counselling for Anxiety sessions, to create an individual plan and help you move through whatever is troubling you. I also like to include a focus on the physical body in our live video sessions, so you will tackle your anxiety from every angle.
My practice is based on the values of being compassionate and non-judgemental. I am LGBTQ+ affirmative.
I also create and teach wellbeing courses on subjects such as anxiety, assertiveness and confidence building.
