Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Jill Wheeler. I am a Licensed Certified Mental Health Counselor with twelve years of experience. I am certified by the state of North Carolina as an LCMHC. (LicensedClinical Mental Health Counselor). I work for the Department of Defense as a military counselor during the day and pledge my evening here on this platform. Previously, I worked as an Acute therapist in a psychiatric hospital unit. This experience broadened my counseling skills. Working in several school systems with children of all ages allowed me to experience counseling the younger mindset.
Currently, I work with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, school problems, and spiritual matters. My counseling style is non-judgmental, inviting, respectful, thought-provoking, and sensitive. My counseling approach combines solution-focused and motivational interviewing.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

Many people wonder whether meeting with a therapist online can truly help. For common challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been found to be comparably effective to traditional in-person care for most situations.
One major benefit of remote sessions is flexibility. Clients can choose the communication method that fits their needs and schedule – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to integrate therapy into a busy life.
These services are provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and clients may change therapists at any time if they prefer a different fit. Online therapy offers an accessible option for many people seeking support while maintaining the same range of approaches available in face-to-face work.
