Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Life is full of seasons, some more difficult than others.
Hi I’m Jessica, a licensed clinical mental health counselor in North Carolina and for the past 10 years I’ve been supporting clients as they navigate some of life’s more challenging seasons. I’m passionate about helping client’s access their inner strengths and achieve their goals.
I believe everyone has the inner strengths needed to live their best life. It can be hard to recognize those strengths through the fog our stress response triggers. Having someone outside of your inner circle to listen, help you clear your head and build better coping skills can be so helpful.
Therapy is a process in which you will clarify how you feel, what you need and want, and how to get more satisfaction from your life. Counseling approaches I use vary according to your personal goals. But, the foundation of my therapeutic style is person centered, a non-authoritative approach that allows clients to take more of a lead in discussions so that, in the process, they will discover their own solutions. I believe each counseling experience should be unique and one of a kind, tailored to the person I am with in that moment. I hope you will feel that belief in our work together.
My schedule varies throughout the year, so I prefer to work with clients directly to schedule appointments that fit their need. Please feel free to message me to inquire about my current session time availability.

Jessica Owen is a licensed clinical mental health counselor in North Carolina who brings 11 years of experience to her work supporting people through life’s more challenging seasons. She focuses on helping individuals tap into their inner strengths and move toward the goals that matter to them, offering steady support as they navigate change and difficult moments.
She believes that most people already possess the resources needed to live a more satisfying life, though those strengths can be hard to see when stress triggers the body’s response. Having someone outside of one’s usual circle to listen, help clarify thoughts, and build stronger coping skills can make a meaningful difference.
In therapy with Jessica, the process centers on identifying feelings, clarifying needs and wants, and discovering ways to increase overall life satisfaction. Her approach varies with each person’s goals, but is grounded in a person-centered, non-authoritative style that encourages clients to take the lead in sessions and find their own solutions. She aims to make each counseling experience unique and tailored to the person she is with in the moment.
She holds a North Carolina clinical mental health counseling license (NC LCMHC 9793), a credential that reflects her state licensure to practice. Her schedule varies throughout the year, so she prefers to arrange appointments directly with clients; those interested are invited to message her to inquire about current session availability.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or managing life transitions – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. This makes virtual care a viable option for people seeking help with these issues.
One of the main benefits is flexibility. Individuals can meet with therapists in the format that fits their needs and comfort level, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That range of options helps make it easier to incorporate therapy into a busy life.
Therapists providing online care are licensed professionals, and clients may choose to switch providers at any time if they want a different fit. For many, online therapy offers a practical and effective way to access professional support while maintaining the convenience of remote sessions.
