Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi! My name is Jenna Auxier. I am an LCSW with a licensed issued in the state of Kentucky. I have 5 years of counseling experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, addictions, trauma, and crisis counseling.
I am experienced in many counseling techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Seeking Safety, and Motivational Interviewing. I ultimately will pick the technique that is best for you. My first few sessions will start with asking you some questions to get to know you. You can also ask me any questions you would like as well! I want our first few sessions to focus on building a trusting and therapeutic relationship. Our next steps will be developing a treatment plan. I want you involved in the treatment planning sessions because I believe if you are apart of developing your goals, you will be more likely to stick to them. My therapy sessions are always focused on you and what you need. I will empower you by teaching you tools you can use outside of our sessions. I will guide you on the path you feel is best. I treat our sessions as a team based. We are both actively involved during our time together.
I applaud you for taking the next step in your journey to seek counseling. I know this can be vulnerable and uncomfortable, but know there is so much strength in you to take this step. I look forward to working with you!

Jenna Auxier is a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Kentucky with nine years of clinical experience. She works with a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, coping with life changes, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, grief, parenting issues, anger management, career difficulties, compassion fatigue, and ADHD.
She has supported people through depression, anxiety, addictions, trauma, and crisis situations, tailoring care to each person’s needs. Her initial sessions prioritize asking questions to understand the person and establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship, and she welcomes questions from clients during that time. From there, Jenna collaborates with clients to create a treatment plan, inviting their active participation because she believes involvement in goal-setting supports better follow-through.
Jenna focuses therapy on practical tools clients can use between sessions and guides the process in a team-based manner, with both clinician and client actively involved. She commends anyone who takes the step to seek counseling and looks forward to working with new clients.
