I am an experienced conscientious and caring counsellor with over 22 years of experience. My approach is Pluralistic which enables me to combine several methods such as humanistic, cognitive behavioural, psychodynamic and other techniques. This approach recognises that different approaches work for different clients at different times I have experience working with adults and young people who have been impacted by a range of emotional issues and am skilled in working with a number of areas such anxiety and depression, stress, attachment, trauma, abuse, loss and bereavement and relational difficulties.
My emphasis is on building a collaborative relationship. Whatever issues you bring I will listen to how you feel and think about the problem. Whether you have trauma from the past or difficulties in the present we will work on trying to gain a clear perspective on how to overcome obstacles and cope with life events to bring about the change you desire.
