Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, my name is Grace. I’m a compassionate, accepting humanistic counsellor with a passion for providing a safe, empathic space to explore difficult thoughts and feelings. I registered with the BACP
As their website says, the humanistic approach is about free will, self-discovery and achieving your full potential as a human being, rather than concentrating on individual problems or symptoms. It looks at everything that makes you who you are and focuses on you as a unique individual and your relationship with the world around you.
I have a person-centred foundation but incorporate other models like transactional analysis with useful tools to help understand how early life experiences can affect current patterns of thinking.
Gestalt therapy to help you focus on the here and now and where you may be getting stuck
My goal is to empower individuals to embark on a journey towards healing, wholeness, inner peace, and self-discovery.
I bring multicultural experience from emigrating to live and work in Africa for 20 years before returning to the UK therefore I value cultural sensitivity in therapy.
I have 40 years of experience as a pharmacist, in various settings including a focus on psychiatry, trauma, and mental health. I believe medication is important, but many people also need an affordable, quickly accessible and safe place to talk.
I look forward to getting to know you and working together to navigate your challenges.

Grace Symphony is a compassionate, accepting humanistic counsellor who offers a safe, empathic space to explore difficult thoughts and feelings.
She is registered with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and works from a humanistic perspective that emphasises free will, self-discovery and the pursuit of personal potential rather than focusing only on symptoms.
Her practice is grounded in a person-centred approach while incorporating other models such as transactional analysis to illuminate how early life experiences influence current thinking, and Gestalt therapy to bring attention to the here and now and to identify where a person may be stuck.
Grace aims to empower people on a journey toward healing, wholeness, inner peace and self-discovery, and she values cultural sensitivity informed by two decades living and working in Africa before returning to the United Kingdom.
Before training in counselling, she spent 40 years working as a pharmacist in diverse settings with a focus on psychiatry, trauma and mental health; she recognises the role of medication for some people while also offering an affordable, accessible and safe place to talk.
She is a non-religious, female therapist based in the United Kingdom with four years of experience in providing therapy, and she welcomes the opportunity to work together to navigate life’s challenges.
