I travel full-time in our RV with my husband of 18 years and our Tonkinese cats, Apollo and Jazzi. I have a private office in our RV, where I conduct remote therapy sessions. I also write children’s books featuring characters who help young readers navigate real-life challenges.
.
I love connecting with nature because it reminds me of what truly matters in life, which is a key reason I enjoy my RV lifestyle so much. As a quote from The Lion King states: “There is more to see than can ever be seen, and more to do than can ever be done.” My goal is to see and do as much as possible while living my best life. In short, I love life and make it my mission to experience it to the fullest every day!
.
As an interactive, solution-focused therapist, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored specifically to my clients’ immediate needs and life visions. My practice, which spans three decades, is grounded in evidence-based solutions. I listen without judgment and teach my clients to utilize mental health tools to cope with and resolve the issues that brought them to therapy.
.
I would be remiss not to mention that therapy can extend beyond problem resolution. I enjoy helping my clients create the life experiences they desire, and for those who wish, therapy can focus on optimizing their mental health. I am deeply grateful for the life teachers who have graced my life over the years, imparting invaluable lessons. I share their words of wisdom with clients who want to incorporate them into their therapeutic experience.
.
I enjoy my work as a therapist now just as much as I did when my career began over three decades ago. Through years of practice, I’ve come to understand that real answers exist for life’s challenges. I also take great pleasure in helping others create the experiences they desire. My philosophy about therapy is that each individual’s experience is unique. It’s my role as their therapist to guide them toward their desired outcomes. Additionally, I have a responsibility to present various ways for them to achieve their goals, as there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution; multiple paths often exist to tackle a problem or move beyond a specific life situation. It is genuinely my distinct pleasure to assist my clients in discovering the answers that best suit their lives.
.
I now offer mental health therapy exclusively. Over five years ago, I transitioned my entire practice to tele-Counseling, which made therapy just a click away for my clients, eliminating the time and hassle of traveling to an office. This was only the beginning of the benefits, as clients have shared that they can focus on their issues more quickly and deeply in their own familiar environment. I’ve also noticed that, in general, teletherapy requires fewer sessions to achieve successful outcomes than in-office sessions.
.
A few considerations for specifically choosing the Better Help platform for my clients include the amenities of the 24/7 message page allows for on-going therapy between live sessions. The “journal option” makes it possible for my clients to easily do their personal work and then share it with me if they choose, or keep it private otherwise. The menu of session modes meets each client at their comfort level and availability. My clients can select for phone or live chat or video on a session by session basis. There is a library of worksheets and information available to therapists that are beneficial to my clients. Plus, my clients can print or upload their messages and worksheets and maintain their own record of their therapy experience. These are all amenities generally beyond the scope of traditional therapy, and is the reason I selected “Better Help” for my clients.
.
I’d love to connect with you on Better Help! So log-in, settle into your easy chair, and click “Work with Me”. I am right here to take that first life-changing step with you.

Gail Roberson Fatino brings 35 years of clinical experience to her work as a licensed counselor and clinician. She travels full-time with her husband of 18 years and their Tonkinese cats, Apollo and Jazzi, and has outfitted a private office in their RV where she conducts remote therapy sessions. In addition to her clinical practice, she writes children’s books that introduce young readers to characters who help them manage real-life challenges.
Gail is licensed to practice as a professional counselor in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, Arizona, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Delaware, and she holds a masters-level psychologist license in Kansas. She blends an interactive, solution-focused approach with evidence-based methods, tailoring each session to the client’s immediate needs and longer-term life vision. She listens without judgment and teaches practical mental health tools clients can use to cope with and resolve the concerns that bring them to therapy.
Beyond resolving problems, Gail often works with clients to create the experiences they want in life and to optimize their mental health when desired. She credits many “life teachers” for the wisdom that has shaped her practice, and she shares those lessons with clients who find them helpful. She remains as engaged in this work now as when her career began three decades ago, and she enjoys guiding people toward the solutions that best fit their unique circumstances.
More than five years ago Gail transitioned her practice fully to tele-counseling, making therapy accessible by a click rather than a commute. She has observed that clients frequently focus more quickly and deeply when working from a familiar environment, and that teletherapy can often achieve successful outcomes in fewer sessions than traditional in-office work. For her clients she selected the Better Help service because of features that support ongoing care—including a 24/7 messaging page, a journaling option, multiple session modes such as phone, live chat, and video, and a library of worksheets and resources that clients can print or upload to keep their own therapy records.
Gail combines decades of experience with a zest for life and nature, inspired in part by a favorite line from The Lion King: “There is more to see than can ever be seen, and more to do than can ever be done.” She strives to help clients see and do more while living their best lives, and she welcomes connections with those ready to begin or continue their therapeutic journey.
For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person care. Research and clinical experience indicate that remote counseling can deliver comparable outcomes for these types of issues.
One clear advantage is the flexibility it provides. People can choose the communication method that fits their needs and comfort level – video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it easier to integrate therapy into busy schedules.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they are seeking a different fit. Online therapy often reduces travel time and can help clients engage more quickly with meaningful work in their own environments, which many find contributes to efficient progress in treatment.
Ultimately, online therapy is a practical, accessible option for addressing common mental health concerns and for many people it is a highly effective way to receive care while balancing life’s demands.
