Francesca Dolan Wills is a UK-licensed therapist with six years of professional experience. She supports people facing stress, anxiety, major life changes, grief and loss, infertility and pregnancy loss, and a range of family and career difficulties.
Her clinical background includes time spent working for a local hospice, a pregnancy loss charity and several other local charities. More recently she has provided support and therapy through larger UK services such as the NHS and the police, offering care to employees.
Prior to qualifying as a therapist she worked for eight years as a work and employment coach for the UK government. Since June 2023 she has practised in her own private practice while also working with a cancer youth charity and providing support via employee assistance programmes.
These roles have enabled her to work with individuals from a wide variety of religions and backgrounds. She aims to create an open, safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without judgement, and she recognises that beginning therapy takes courage – she is proud of those who take that first step.
People often wonder whether online therapy can genuinely help. For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or managing life transitions – online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect in the way that suits them best – through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Licensed professionals deliver online care, and if someone feels they need a different match they are free to switch therapists at any time. This approach makes therapeutic support more accessible without sacrificing the quality of the therapeutic relationship.
