Eric Mason

Eric Mason is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Nevada, with licensure across Nebraska and Iowa and 13 years of clinical experience. He brings a particular depth of skill in substance abuse treatment - with over nine years focused in that area - and more than five years providing mental health therapy.

He has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults across a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, anger management, trauma and abuse, victims of crime, physical and sexual abuse, and LGBTQ-related issues. His practice has also included work with people affected by incarceration and with individuals who have been perpetrators of physical abuse.

Eric completed a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in addiction studies at Nevada State College in 2011 and earned a Master of Social Work from the University of New England in 2015. He holds clinical licensure in Nevada and is licensed in Iowa and Nebraska - credentials listed as IA LISW 123759 and NE LIMHP 2585.

His counseling style is inviting, warm, and interactive. He meets clients where they are with respect, compassion, and empathy, and integrates motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral strategies, solution-focused techniques, psychodynamic perspectives, and humanistic approaches to tailor treatment to each person’s needs.
