Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a licensed UK therapist and have been in practice for 4 years.
I understand how messy and painful life can be at times. That feeling of opening your eyes in the morning and the incoming waves of dread and apprehension as another day starts, another day of maybe having to show the world you’re fine, when in truth, you feel anything but. Maybe you’re entrenched in grief, or there is a loss of direction in your life, feelings are showing up every day that you struggle to make sense of, anxiety feels like it dominates daily life, relationships are becoming difficult, or you have a heaviness of hopelessness and ‘stuckness’. Perhaps you’re yearning to heal from a traumatic event, you long to silence the internal nagging voice that tells you you’re not good enough or worth enough, you find yourself screaming into a void or or you’re struggling to identify a reason to keep on going…a reason to stay. These are just a few things that may feel familiar (some have certainly resonated with me), but no matter what you are feeling, you don’t have to feel it alone. I also believe it’s important to highlight that nothing is too big or too small when coming into therapy; whatever you’re feeling is 100% valid.
I am an integrative counsellor with a person-centred core, offering therapy to adults. All the different terms in therapy can sound baffling and confusing, right? Essentially, what this means for you is that, while I may sometimes draw on a range of therapeutic modalities and approaches to best suit you and your needs, the person-centred approach will always underpin my work. I hold the trust and respect that you, as the client, are the expert on your world, although I understand it may not always feel that way – after all, it can take a great deal of courage to allow that belief in! I’m here as a passenger on the journey with you, to sit with you in the darkest and most painful moments and to help make sense, to notice patterns, to make changes (should you wish to) and to move towards a happier and more fulfilling life. We move along your journey together – you are not alone.
Thank you so much for being here and for reading about me. If you feel I could be the therapist for you, then I very much look forward to hearing from you. If not, then I wish you all the very best with your journey towards growth, fulfilment and healing.

Elizabeth Turner is a licensed UK therapist and an integrative counsellor with a person-centred core, offering therapy to adults. She has 4 years of professional experience working with a range of life challenges.
She recognises how messy and painful life can feel at times – waking with a wave of dread, keeping up appearances when inside feels very different. Whether someone is entrenched in grief, struggling with a loss of direction, experiencing persistent anxiety, finding relationships difficult, feeling heavy with hopelessness or stuckness, or wanting to heal from a traumatic event, she aims to provide steady support. She also understands the impact of a harsh internal critic, feelings of low self-worth, and the painful search for a reason to keep going.
Elizabeth works from the belief that nothing someone brings to therapy is too big or too small and that emotions are valid. Her practice is grounded in person-centred values – she treats the client as the expert on their own life while offering respectful, attentive companionship through difficult moments. She sits alongside clients to help make sense of experiences, notice patterns, consider change where wanted, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
She offers help across areas including stress and anxiety, family and parenting issues, trauma and abuse, grief, relationship and intimacy-related concerns, self-esteem, career and work challenges, depression, coping with life changes, and compassion fatigue. Elizabeth is a female, non-religious therapist based in the United Kingdom.
Thank you for taking the time to read about her. If Elizabeth Turner could be the right therapist for someone, she looks forward to hearing from them; if not, she wishes them the best on their journey toward growth, fulfilment and healing.
