Elena Hendricks

Elena Hendricks grew up in a small town in Southern New Jersey where much of her extended family lived within a 20-minute radius. She spent many years playing competitive soccer and enjoys camping, creating art, watching documentaries, and reading. A love of learning has guided both her personal interests and professional path. During her junior year of high school she participated in a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, an experience that sparked her desire to help others.

Elena earned a Master of Social Work from Widener University and holds a clinical social work license in South Carolina (SC LISW-CP 12505). With nine years of clinical experience, she focuses on helping people reach their individual goals by identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns, reconciling relationships, and supporting the development of healthy problem-solving skills and effective communication techniques.

She approaches care with a commitment to honoring each person as unique and tailors her methods accordingly. Using a holistic lens that considers biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors, Elena assesses clients' specific needs, strengths, and goals. That assessment guides how she supports, guides, and inspires people as they work toward healing and their personal objectives.
