My name is Elaine, and I can help you. I am an experienced integrative counsellor, working with adults – both men and women. I also work with Down Syndrome clients. I offer you a safe, warm non-judgemental space where you can experience the magic of being fully heard, understood, and accepted as you. By sharing your story, together, we can explore and understand your feelings, and learn to overcome the barriers which are limiting your happiness. I have dealt with stress, anxiety, and workplace bullying myself and fully understand the feelings of fear, shame, and embarrassment I am an Integrative Counsellor, which means that I use skills and techniques from various therapies.
Therapy can be life changing. Taking the first step to change is always the hardest. Take this step, and your journey to change will begin. Working together we can explore which approach may benefit you the most and will be tailored specifically for you. My approach combines cognitive-behavioural (CBT), humanistic, and psychodynamic, solution focused, and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) therapy. My counselling style is collaborative, warm, and compassionate. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
